Late last week, Livingston County Clerk, Sherry Parks announced in a press release, that her office is, “Processing the biennial voter registration canvass as described in RSMO 115.” Livingston County registered voters who have moved but have not changed their address

with the Livingston County Clerk, may receive a document in the mail verifying their new address.

“If the information on the document is correct, the voter needs to sign and return the letter to the Livingston County Clerk’s office within 30 days in order to keep their voter registration active,” Parks said. “If the completed document is not received, the voter registration record may

become inactive.”

In November, new voter registration cards will be sent to all active registered voters.

“The Livingston County Clerk’s staff started working on this project a few months ago and the entire process will take several months to complete,” Parks said in the press release. “Keeping the voter registration accurate is of great importance in making Election Day a more pleasant experience.”

Parks added she plans to have the canvass process completed by the end of the year.
