Weekend police reports include several more thefts from cars in the area.

2:42 a.m., Officer contacted a subject setting in vehicle near Fairview and Broken Arrow. As a result of that contact, a female was arrested for possession of methamphetamine. The female was transported to the police department, processed, cited and released pending a future court appearance.

10:45 a.m., Officers received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 1600 block of Burnam Road. Investigation continues.

12:15 p.m., Officers responded to a business in the 200 block of South Washington for a report of a subject, with an active felony warrant, in the business. Officers located the subject and placed the subject under arrest without incident. The subject was processed at the police department and transported to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.

1:28 p.m., Officer received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 1800 block of Rinehart. Investigation Continues.

3:05 p.m., Officer received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 1500 block of Burnam Road. Investigation Continues.

4:59 p.m., Officer received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Southwest Drive. Investigation Continues.

7:48 p.m., Officers called to a the1600 block of Maple Street to a report of a domestic assault. As a result of the investigation, officers arrested a male subject for second-degree domestic assault. The male

subject was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.

On Oct. 13, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 63 calls for service.

2:23 a.m., Officer conducted traffic stop at U.S. Highway 36 and U.S. Highway 65. The drivers was issued warning for speeding.

2:29 a.m., Officer contacted owner of vehicle that had trunk open in the 1600 block of Hickory. Vehicle was secured by owner.

8:26 a.m., Officer received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Hillcrest. Investigation continues.

9:51 a.m., Officers called to Jackson and Vine Street to a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers contacted subjects walking down the street and advised they had a verbal argument. Parties were

advised of the Missouri 12-hour Domestic Violence Rule.

10:17 a.m., Officer called to the 500 block of Grandview for a parking complaint. Officer made contact with owner and issue was resolved.

12:45 p.m., Officer received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in the 200 block of Southwest Drive. Investigation Continues.

12:56 p.m., Officer called to the 200 block of Liberia regarding landlord/tenant issues.

1:44 p.m., Officer provided escort for a local funeral home.

2:27 p.m., Officer called to a business in the 400 block of North Washington regarding a subject called the business and threatening the business and the employee. Investigation continues.

3:13 p.m., Officer called to the 300 block of Hillcrest for a report of theft from a motor vehicle. Investigation continues.

3:31 p.m., Officer called to the 1700 block of Lakeview regarding a report of theft from a motor vehicle. Investigation Continues.

5:16 p.m., Officer received a report of theft from a residence’s garage in the 200 block of Southwest Drive. Investigation continues.

7:23 p.m., Officer recovered a wallet from a business in the 2600 block of North Washington Street. The wallet was returned to its owner.

7:29 p.m., Officers called to the domestic disturbance in the 500 block of Orchard. Officers advised the incident was verbal in nature and no arrest were made.

7:29 p.m., Officer conducted traffic stop in the 1800 block of North Washington Street. Driver was issued warning for speeding.

8:09 p.m., Officer conducted traffic stop at Mohawk and Hornet. The driver was issued warning for defective equipment.

8:55 p.m., Officers called to a one vehicle accident in the westbound lanes of U.S. Highway 36 near Lowes. Officers reported a female driver lost control of her motor vehicle and struck the center guardrail.

On Oct. 12, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 118 calls for service.

12:41 a.m., Officer contacted the owner of motor vehicle regarding lights being left on in vehicle. The owner advised light was mistakenly left on.

7:31 a.m., Officer conducted a well-being check of an individual in the 600 block of West Business 36. Subject was found to be safe.

12:35 p.m., Officers received a report of theft in the 300 block of Polk. Investigation continues.

1:23 p.m., Officers received a report of a motor vehicle accident in the 1400 block of North Washington Street. The owners of the vehicles exchanged information and stated they did not need a report.

2:34 p.m., Officer assisted another agency in providing two CVSA’s for investigative purposes.

2:48 p.m., Officer transported juvenile to Kirksville Juvenile Detention Center for Juvenile Office.

5:28 p.m., Officer received a report of theft from a motor vehicle in that occurred on Oct. 7, in the 1800 block of Fairchild.

6:58 p.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 2400 block of North Washington Street. The driver was issued a warning for expired registration.

7:39 p.m., Officers received information from off duty officers, that a subject, who is known to be armed and dangerous, with active felony warrants, was located inside a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officer responded to the business and the subject exited the store, attempted to flee from officers, but was subsequently arrested. The subject was found to be in possession of stolen property from the business, as well as methamphetamine. The subject was processed at the police department and transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.

10:13 p.m., Officer responded to Hedrick Medical Center for a report of a juvenile with a dog bite that occurred in the 400 block of Elm Street. The juvenile was treated for the injury and the animal was quarantined per policy.

On Oct. 11, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 86 calls for service.
