So Much Fun In Life!

Here We Go—We must remember this Man—Bob Carter! There are moments in your lifetime that you never quite forget. We think back—November 20, 2001—18 years ago today, everyone’s Best Friend—Bobby Carter died in an automobile accident in the late afternoon. We often think what would Bobby be like today—the same I’m sure. He always had that youthfulness about him that was going to stay forever. Yes, as we’ve said many times, those suppers during Monday night football, visits as Santa and the many homes that welcomed him as family---IWUVOU.

What a Project to honor our Veterans, our Community and great satisfaction to himself. A Veterans Bench on the south side of the courthouse, near the Veterans Memorial, created by Dalton Ripley of Troop 120, as his Eagle Scout Project. Hallie Rae and I were at the dedication, attended by folks in the area including lots of Veterans, very powerful and such a great honor for Dalton as well. Dalton is a junior at Chillicothe High School, son of Steve and Cathy Ripley.
