There were 88,843 deer harvested during this year’s opening weekend of the fall firearms deer season in Missouri. Certainly sounds like a lot of pride for lots of game hunters, with venison to butcher and those trophy-sized antlers to hang. To Gabe and Harlie, what a great hunt, making memories.

Simpson Park is certainly a Festival of Lights. Everyone in the area and folks traveling down U.S. Highway 65 will certainly have a treat as they drive by. Simply Amazing. To the many volunteers who put this beautiful piece of art together, you are to be so proud. Also to Darin “Illuminations by Newman”, thank you for lighting up our home up on the hill. Always makes for a cozy feel.
