The popular event will be from 4-6 p.m., on Dec. 4.
Main Street Chillicothe will be hosting their annual Kid’s Christmas from 4-6 p.m., on Wednesday, Dec. 4, inside the first floor of the Livingston County Courthouse. This is a time that children ages 4-14, can do their Christmas shopping for their family members.
According to a press release from Main Street Chillicothe, there will be eight merchants that are participating and will have gifts that can be purchased for $15 or less, even though the gifts are valued at a higher price. The merchants participating this year are Clifton’s, Coconut Grove, Lauhoff Jewelers, Sensenich Jeweler, Beemer’s Men’s Wear, Hometown Pharmacy; Country Corner Craft and Antique Mall and The Charmed Nook.
Free gift wrapping will be offered by Beta Sigma Phi Sorority. Children will also be able to make their own cards at the card making station. A special performance by the Chillicothe Choir Department under the direction of Matthan Mrkvicka will be given at 5 p.m. in Silver Moon Plaza.
Carriage rides for $1 per person will also be a part of the evening’s events. People wishing to take the rides will get on the carriage on the Westside of Silver Moon Plaza.
Santa will also be in town from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Children will be able to have their picture taken with Santa inside Silver Moon Plaza. Santa will have some of his elves with him along with elves inside the courthouse helping the kids shop. The Elves are from the FBLA class under the guidance of Susan Meyers.
