1:31 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the B&B Theater in reference to a report of a male that had fallen asleep during a movie and inadvertently got locked in the building. A key holder was contacted and responded and let the male out after officers verified that no damage or theft had occurred.

9:23 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of a theft from a business in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street.

10:19 a.m., Officers were dispatched to check the well-being of a resident in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street. The resident was contacted and was not in need of any assistance.

10:40 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street in reference to a person that had recently been observed on surveillance video stealing from the business. Officers arrested Carolann Feeney for stealing. Feeney was transported to the police department where she was processed and released on a municipal citation.

2:46 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of a missing person from the 1700 block of Morningside Drive. The resident was located and returned.

2:56 p.m., Officers were dispatched to check the well-being of a juvenile in the 500 block of Washington Street. Officers contacted the juvenile’s guardian and it was determined that no assistance was needed.

3:13 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 300 block of Webster Street. Officers made contact and the vehicles were moved.

3:20 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 500 block of Ann Street. Officers placed a warning for illegal parking on the vehicle.

5:16 p.m., Officers were dispatched to check the well-being of a male in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street. The male was transported to Hedrick Medical Center for treatment.

6:00 p.m., A resident brought a dog to the police department that was found in his yard. Officers located the owner of the dog and she was returned to her owner.

6:18 p.m., Officers spoke to a resident at the police department in reference to a property issue.

8:07 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the 900 block of Jefferson Street in reference to a child custody issue.

9:22 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1300 block of Green Street. The incident was found to be verbal and no arrests were made.

On Feb. 9, the Chillicothe Police Department received 72 calls for service.

12:18 a.m., Officers were dispatched back to the same address in the 200 block of Woodrow in reference to a domestic disturbance. Officers found that the disturbance had turned physical. Officers arrested Clinton Allen for misdemeanor domestic assault. Allen was transported to the police department where he was processed and transported to the Daviess DeKalb Regional Jail by a CPD officer.

8:30 a.m., Officers provided a funeral escort.

10:12 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance at a business in the 600 block of Business Highway 36. Officers reported that two males had become angry with the clerk where they were unable to purchase intoxicating beverages without proper identification. Officers were advised that the males became verbally abusive to the clerk and left the property prior to officer’s arrival.

10:20 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the police department to speak to two residents that were having issues with their juvenile son. Officers completed a report and the incident was referred to the Livingston County Juvenile Office.

12:30 p.m., Officers provided a funeral escort.

12:40 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of suspicious activity at a residence in the 2500 block of Country Club Drive.

2:15 p.m., Officers provided a funeral escort.

3:44 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of an abandoned vehicle in the 700 block of Milwaukee. Officers contacted the vehicle’s owner and the vehicle was moved.

7:26 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a suspicious vehicle and possible disturbance with the occupants at Polk and Miller streets. Officers contacted the occupants and found no evidence of a disturbance or other illegal activity.

8:41 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 800 block of Jefferson Street. The vehicle was waiting to pick up a handicapped resident.

10:40 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of a female stealing from a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Officers observed the suspect vehicle attempting to leave the business and conducted an investigative stop on the vehicle. Officers arrested a female occupant for stealing. Officers also found an illegal substance on the female’s person during a search incident to arrest. The female was also arrested for possession of a controlled substance. Officers called for the assistance of Livingston County K-9 to

assist. Officers were advised that K-9 had alerted on the presence of drugs in the vehicle. Officers located an illegal substance in the vehicle upon searching. Officers arrested the male driver and a male passenger for possession of a controlled substance. Officers transported the three suspects to the police department where they were processed and released on citations.

10:44 a.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of a disturbance involving a juvenile male that was out of control in the 1500 block of Calhoun Street. The juvenile was released to a parent.

12:19 p.m., Officers spoke to a person in the police department lobby in reference to property held in evidence.

4:08 p.m., Officers were dispatched to the Clay Street Park in reference to three juveniles reportedly entering the storm drainage system and were unable to be located. Officers located the three juveniles and they were advised to stay out of the drainage system.

5:16 p.m., Officers were dispatched to assist a Livingston County Deputy on a traffic enforcement stop at U.S. Highway 36 and U.S. Highway.

6:30 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of a dog at large in the 1500 block of Bryan Street.

6:47 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a commercial burglary alarm in the 600 block of Washington Street. The alarm was found to have been accidentally activated.

7:28 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a parking complaint in the 800 block of Jefferson Street. Officers contacted the vehicle’s owner and the vehicle was moved.

9:54 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a report of a vehicle driving carelessly in the 400 block of S. Washington Street. Officers located the vehicle and conducted a traffic enforcement stop at Washington and Waples streets. Officers arrested the driver, Clinton Allen for driving while suspended. Allen was transported to the police department where he was processed and released on a citation.

11:18 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 200 block of Woodrow. The incident was found to be verbal and no arrests were made.

3:50 a.m., Officers took a theft report from a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street involving the felony theft of nearly $3000 worth of merchandise. Possible suspects have been identified with investigation to continue.

6:18 a.m., Officers reported to Edgewood Cemetery in reference damage to a tombstone. Determined to be accident with subject performing work in the cemetery. Insurance information was exchanged.

7:05 a.m., Officers responded to the 300 block of 11th Street for a leaving the scene accident. A parked vehicle was struck and the suspect vehicle left the scene. A suspect was identified and located and placed under arrest and processed. The suspect was issued two citations and released pending a court date.

7:56 a.m., Officer responded to an alleyway in the 1100 block of Second Street in reference a knife having been found. The item was seized and to be destroyed.

7:58 a.m., School Resource Officer out in the 500 block of Polk Street reference a juvenile issue.

8:51 a.m., Officers responded to the 300 block of Elm St, for report of property damage. The glass in a door had been broken. This investigation is ongoing.

8:52 a.m., Officer spoke with the subject in reference to possible harassment.

8:55 a.m., Officers out at business in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Subject possibly attempting to leave business without paying. Subject spoken with and they left the premises.

9:23 a.m., Officer performed a funeral escort for a local business.

9:37 a.m., A 27-year-old female turned herself in on a City of Chillicothe Municipal warrant for failing to register a vehicle. She was processed, posted a cash bond and was provided a court date to appear in municipal court and released.

9:40 a.m., Officers were on special detail to St. Joseph.

10:41 a.m., Officers performed a funeral escort for a local business.

12:19 p.m., Officer spoke with a subject on phone reference possible harassment. The subject was advised of available options.

12:52 p.m., Report of a vehicle being driven in the 500 block of S. Washington Street with a young child not secured in a child restraint. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.

12:59 p.m., Report of a minor vehicle accident in the 500 block of S. Washington Street. Subjects exchanged the necessary information.

1:18 p.m., Officers checked possible disturbance in the 900 block of Trenton Road. No disturbance was located.

2:54 p.m., Intoxicated subject at a business in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street. Subject left the premises.

4:28 p.m., Complaint of possible careless and imprudent driving in the 500 block of Vine Street. Officers unable to locate.

4:39 p.m., Officer checked on subject on outer road near south city limits. The subject was okay.

4:41 p.m., Officer out in the 1600 block of Maple Street on an investigation.

6:50 p.m., Officers assisted another agency on a vehicle stop in the 10 block of Elm Street.

7:46 p.m., Officers out in the 100 block of E. Jackson Street to speak with a subject that had questions in reference a commitment.

9:10 p.m., Officer spoke with subject with questions on child custody. Advised civil issue and contact attorney.

9:42 p.m., Noise complaint in the 900 block of Trenton Street. Subject contacted and advised of complaint. Agreed to be quiet.

On Feb. 6, the Chillicothe Police Department received 123 calls for service.
