The Livingston County Extension Council will host the “Leap into the Soup Supper Fun and Games” from 3:30-7 p.m., Feb. 29 at the Livingston County Fairgrounds in the Jenkins Expo Building.

Council members are hosting the free-will donation soup supper and 4-H clubs from around the county have joined together to create a carnival-like atmosphere with games and prizes available for children of all ages. Activities will include bounce houses and mechanical bull riding. Tickets can be purchased on site. A silent auction will feature themed baskets created by 4-H Clubs and supporters.

The purpose of the fundraiser is to support the purchase of the new Livingston County Extension Center. After many moves over the past few years, having a permanent home will allow Extension programs to better serve the needs of county residents for years to come. Extension programs include 4-H, nutrition, human development, agriculture and other community-strengthening programs.
