It is always great following the Lake Viking Polar Plunge, this year raising $11,000 for Special Olympics Missouri—with 44 individuals participating in the Plunge hosted by the Chillicothe Correctional Center. After a 13 year run or dip you might say at Lake Viking next year the probable location of the plunge will be Chillicothe. Joining in the event this year another part of Chillicothe, Chillicothe High School students, as the Top School donating $1,533.83. Way to go Hallie Rae and Buddies, Chloe, Hannah, Emily, Emmitt, Megan and Elijah.

Lenten Fish Fry—the Annual Lenten Fish Fry at Bishop Hogan Memorial School will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday and again March 13 and 27. This is dine-in, carry-out or drive-thru.

Rainbow. This amazing summer event-- Camp Rainbow in its 56th year, has certainly brightened the lives of many throughout the years. To the many campers, staff members, volunteers and to all that visit the Camp at Crowder Park each year it has to be very rewarding in so many ways.

We certainly want to compliment Chillicothe High School Junior Sheldon Rader bringing home a sixth-place finish at 106 pounds in the Class 2 State Wrestling Tournament at Mizzou Arena in Columbia.

Making his coaches, family, friends and Hornet Country so very proud. This is the 11th Year in a row that the CHS Hornets have been State Medal Winners!
