9:29 a.m., Officer conducted follow up to a theft investigation at a business in the 1200 block of North Washington Street.
10:14 a.m., Officer responded to a business in the 1200 block of North Washington Street to a report of theft. Officer spoke with a subject regarding a potential theft.
10:49 a.m., Officer received a report of theft from a subject in the 800 block of West Business Highway 36.
11:15 a.m., Officer responded to a report of a two vehicle non-injury accident in the 200 block of South Washington Street.
4:43 p.m., Officer conducted a well-being check in the 800 block of Elm Street. The subject was not at the residence.
5:46 p.m., Officers responded to a report of a fire alarm activation in the 1700 block of Morningside. No fire was located in the building.
6:58 p.m., Officers conducted a well-being check of juveniles in the 100 block of East Jackson Street. The juveniles were found to be safe with a parent.
On March 2, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 72 calls for service.

1:22 a.m., Officers arrested a white male subject for driving while intoxicated. The subject was fully processed and cited for driving while intoxicated.
10:11 a.m., Officers responded to the 1100 block of Cooper for a check well-being. Officers found the subject to be ok.
10:50 a.m., Officers responded to the 1200 block of Washington Street for a stealing that had occurred. Officers arrested a white female for shoplifting. The subject was fully processed and cited for shoplifting.
12:59 p.m., Officers responded to the area of Locust and John F. Kennedy for a subject with an outstanding warrant. Officers arrested a white male subject for an outstanding warrant. The subject was fully processed and transferred to the Daviess-DeKalb Regional Jail.
2:51 p.m., Officers responded to the 1300 block of Monroe for a fire alarm. The alarm was found to be false.
5:36 p.m., Officers responded to the 400 block of Locust for illegal dumping. Officers made contact with possible suspects and explained not to dump trash into the dumpster.
On March 1, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 79 calls for service.

12:56 a.m., Noise complaint at 400 block of Polk Street. Officers unable to make contact with offender. Contact was made with residence manager who took care of complaint.
1:21 a.m., Officer checked on a vehicle that was observed in Danner Park after hours. The vehicle was found to be unattended.
3:44 a.m., Officer observed a vehicle on U.S. Highway 36 that was traveling on the wrong side of the roadway. Vehicle was halted and driver found to be confused. Authorities and family in another state were contacted and advised. Arrangements for assistance from family were made.
5:41 a.m., Officer stood by at accident scene east of Chillicothe on U.S. Highway 36 for a tractor-trailer that had blown a tire, clipped a bridge and was now in the ditch. No injuries. Accident scene was investigated by Highway Patrol.
7:39 a.m., Officer checked report of subjects walking in the roadway by the Armory, heading southbound on Washington Street. Officer checked and observed no one.
8:02 a.m., Officers checked on subject acting strangely in the 800 block of W. Business Highway 36. Subject was found to be a tenant at local motel and returned to motel.
8:30 a.m., Resident in the 500 block of Jackson Street with complaint of noise from another tenant in the same building. Subject was advised of options.
8:31 a.m., Officer out in 900 block of Smith Street on a continuing investigation.
8:55 a.m., Officer performed a funeral escort for local business.
9:38am Officer out at South Junction on a motorist assist. Subject had tow coming.
1:53 p.m., Complaint of dumpster in street in no parking zone of 1200 block of Locust Street. Resident/customer contacted to move dumpster.
4:28 p.m., School Resource Officer on assignment for District Championship Basketball Tournament.
4:35 p.m., Officer assisted Emergency Services with a grass fire in a back yard in the 500 block of Grandview. Fire was extinguished.
5:10 p.m., Officer assisted Animal Control on call in the 100 block of Herriford Street.
5:14 p.m., A bicycle that was stolen a few days ago, was found at a location on Henry Street and returned to the owner.
5:28 p.m., Property dispute in the 400 block of Webster Street. Officer advised subjects to speak with attorney.
5:41 p.m., Custody issue dispute in 400 block of Webster Street. Advised to seek legal counsel.
7:55 p.m., Complaint of careless and imprudent driver in the 500 block of Clay Street. Officers unable to locate suspect vehicle.
8:11 p.m., Complaint of kids playing in Edgewood Cemetery. Officers unable to locate subjects.
8:13 p.m., Officers out for traffic control at High School from sporting event.
8:23 p.m., Officers out in 800 block of Webster Street on a verbal dispute. subjects separated. no report.
10:42 p.m., Possible domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Clay Street. Determined to be verbal only. One party had left prior to officer’s arrival.
11:17 p.m., Reported disturbance in the 600 block of Webster Street. determined to be subjects not leaving property when asked. Officers checked situation. Okay.

3:57 a.m., Officers responded to an address in the 100 block of Jackson Street where a subject was attempting to repossess a vehicle. The vehicle had been found with a dog inside. Officers found the animal was of a breed that is restricted within the city. The dog was removed and the owner advised to remedy the ordinance violation within 24 hours or receive a citation.
8:17 a.m., Officer performed a funeral escort for a local business.
9:05 a.m., Officer checked well-being of subject at Second and Locust Streets.
9:39 a.m., Officers out in the 900 block of Dickinson Street reference investigation involving juvenile. Investigation continuing.
10:37 a.m., Officer contacted by resident of the 1000 block of Locust Street that had questions about someone trespassing.
10:50 a.m., Officer out removing debris from roadway at Clay and Washington Streets.
12:12 p.m., Officer out at business in the 1000 block of Graves Street on report of subjects trespassing that had previously been trespassed from the business. Two subjects were cited and released.
12:21 p.m., Subject in the police department with questions on a possible scam stating that they were the winner of money. Determined and confirmed it was a scam.
1:49 p.m., Officer out at the police department on a follow-up investigation.
3:39 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves Street, regarding a report of shoplifting where the suspect had left the scene. Officers took the shoplifting report and left the business. While officers were on patrol they located the suspect vehicle and the suspect. The subject was arrested for shoplifting and was taken to the police department where she was processed and released on a citation.
3:47 p.m., Officers were dispatched to a domestic disturbance in the 1400 block of Alexander Street. The parties separated and the incident was resolved. No arrests made.
4:09 p.m., Officers out in the 900 block of Smith Street on an investigation.
4:19 p.m., Officer out on continuing investigation in the 900 block of Dickinson Street.
5:11 p.m., Report of kids damaging vehicle on Jennifer Lane. Contact made by officers and determined that no crime was occurring.
6:17 p.m., Officer checked on possible illegal burning in the 200 block of E. Jackson Street. All okay, resident advised of ordinance.
6:42 p.m., Officers called to business in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street reference a subject acting suspiciously in a transaction. Subject gone prior to Officers’ arrival.
7:23 p.m., Officers assisted another agency on an attempted warrant execution. Subject of warrant was not located at address.
8:43 p.m., Officer removed debris from the roadway in the 400 block of S. Washington Street.
On Feb. 28, the Chillicothe Police Department received 115 calls for service.
