12:35 a.m., Officers responded to a business intrusion alarm in the 2600 block of North Washington Street. The alarm was discovered to have been an accidental activation.

1:05 a.m., Officer conducted a business safety check in the 300 block of South Washington Street. The business was found to be secure.

2:37 a.m., Officer conducted business safety check in the 500 block of W. Business 36. The business was found to be secure.

4:49 a.m., Officer conducted business safety check in the 2800 block of Grand Drive. The business was found to be secure.

7:39 a.m., Officer conducted business safety check in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Business was found to be secure.

9:14 a.m., The Chillicothe Police Department conducted Jake’s Law check of a subject being released from jail. The subject was found to not have any warrants.

9:16 a.m., Officer conducted traffic stop in the 2700 block of North Washington Street. The driver was issued a warning for expired registration.

10:27 a.m., Officer conducted business check in the 600 block of W. Business 36. Business was found to be secure.

11:13 a.m., Officer spoke with a subject about littering in the 100 block of Ryan Lane.

11:17 a.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop at Mitchell Avenue and U.S. Highway 36. The driver was issued a warning for speeding.

11:23 a.m., Officer conducted a well-being check of a subject in the 400 block of Clay Street. The residence was found to be vacant.

11:53 a.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 1000 block of South Washington Street. The driver was issued a warning for speeding.

12:29 p.m., Officer responded to a report of a suspicious person in the 400 block of Samuel Street. The suspicious person was found to be a resident.

1:02 p.m., Officer called to the 1000 block of Grandview for animals running at large. The owner was contacted, gathered the animals, and was advised of the ordinances regarding animals at large.

1:07 p.m., Officer responded to the courthouse for court bailiff duties.

1:42 p.m., Officer spoke with the owner of rental property regarding civil issues. The owner was advised to contact an attorney.

1:50 p.m., Officer transported prisoner from courthouse to police department for processing purposes. The prisoner was returned to the courthouse after being processed.

3:48 p.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of South Washington Street. The driver was issued a warning for expired registration.

4:00 p.m., Officer conducted follow-up investigat5ion in the 1500 block of Locust Street.

4:28 p.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 400 block of Locust Street. The driver was issued a warning for improper display of license plates.

5:30 p.m., Officer spoke with a subject regarding the actions of another driver.

6:20 p.m., The Chillicothe Police Department conducted Jake’s Law check on two subjects being released from jail. Subjects did not have any active warrants.

7:29 p.m., Officer conducted business check in the 1200 block of Washington Street. Business was found to be secure.

8:37 p.m., Officer conducted traffic stop at Washington and Green. Driver was cited for defective equipment.

9:13 p.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop at U.S. Highway 65 and U.S. Highway 36. The driver was issued a warning for defective equipment.

9:19 p.m., Officer conducted traffic stop at 3rd and Cherry. The driver was issued a warning for defective equipment.

10:06 p.m., Officer conducted a traffic stop in the 100 block of South Washington Street. The driver was issued a warning for defective equipment and cited for no insurance.
