2:01 a.m., Officer out at B&B Theatre with a vehicle parked there after closing. Contact was made with occupants and advised to move on.
7:08 a.m., Officers began an investigation of stealing in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Suspects were identified and contacted by officers. Officers determined no crime had been committed and the two individuals were released without charges.
7:38 a.m., Officers responded to the 500 block of Mohawk for a report of a domestic disturbance. Officers made contact with the two subjects involved and determined there was a verbal argument between the two, but no physical altercation took place. Both subjects were advised of Missouri's 12-hour rule and both agreed to separate for the day. No arrests were made.
8:21 a.m., Officer out on follow-up investigation in the 700 block of N. Washington Street. Obtaining information on previously reported incident from earlier this date.
8:55 a.m., Officer out at the courthouse reference court duties.
9:57 a.m., Officers dispatched to the 500 block of Samuel Street in reference a resident in his yard and acting strangely, alarming neighbors. The subject was contacted by officers and advised that his actions were disturbing to the neighborhood. No actions observed at this time.
12:20 p.m., Officers were called to the police department for a report of a missing firearm from a residence in the 900 block of Elm Street. Investigation into the theft is continuing.
1:02 p.m., Officer out at business in the 1000 block of Graves Street following up on incident that was reported earlier this date. Picking up paperwork.
1:11 p.m., Officer out at business in the 600 block of Webster Street reference continuing investigation to obtain further information of a previously reported assault at the location.
1:49 p.m., Officers out in the 1500 block of Locust Street to obtain further information on a dogs running at large incident.
2:17 p.m., Officer at the police department to speak with subject in reference to them providing information on the dogs from 1:49 p.m. entry.
2:58 p.m., Report of dogs running at large in the 600 block of Sunset Avenue. Owner was contacted and advised of ordinance and will be cited if re-occurring.
3:09 p.m., Officers out in 1500 block of Locust Street continuing follow-up on dog incident from 1:49 p.m. entry.
3:36 p.m., Officers assisted Animal Control Officer with a loose animal at the shelter.
6:07 p.m., Report of a possible fight going to occur at business in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street. Subjects involved were contacted by officers and no altercation ensued. Subjects warned with consequences.
7:25 p.m., Officers responded to a residence in the 600 block of Webster Street to a child playing with a cell phone and calling 911. Parent was notified and phone taken away from the child.
8:24 p.m., Officers were called to a residence in the 200 block of Park Lane where subjects apparently made entry into a wrong residence through the front door and were confronted by the resident. The subjects turned around and left without incident. Officers will patrol the area.
8:58 p.m., Report of a vehicle parked at Danner Park, the occupants staring at a subject in the park, making them feel uneasy. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
9:54 p.m., Commercial business alarm in the 1000 block of S. Washington Street. Manager and employees contacted. False alarm. All secure.
On March 18, the Chillicothe Police Department received 105 calls for service.
