12:23 a.m., Officers responded to the area of Vine and Polk streets for a suspicious person in the area. Officers made contact with the subject who stated he was walking home.

7:00 a.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Washington Street for a business alarm. Officers found the alarm to be false.

8:06 a.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of Mitchell Street for a stealing report. Investigation is to continue in this report.

10:11 AM. Officers responded to the 900 block of Shagbark to assist emergency services with a medical call. Subject was transported to the Hedrick Medical Center.

10:59 a.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Grandview for animal neglect. Further investigation is to continue in this case.

11:58 a.m., Officers responded to the 600 block of Walnut for a stealing report. Further investigation is to continue in this case.

12:53 p.m., Officers responded to the 1700 block of Clay Street for a burglary. Investigation is to continue in this case.

2:37 p.m., Officers responded to the 700 block of Elm Street for a suspicious person. Officers made contact with that subject who was escorted off the property.

3:51 p.m., Officers responded to the 800 block of Broadway for a well being check. Officers find the subject to be okay.

6:55 p.m., Officers responded to the train tracks on Ryan Lane for kids playing near the tracks. Officers made contact with several adults who were told to stay away from the tracks.

10:52 p.m., Officers responded to the area of 11th and Elm streets for an explosion. Officers determined that someone had set off a large firework in the street.

On March 24, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 100 calls for service.

1:04 a.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of Bridge Street for a verbal disturbance. A male and female had been in a verbal argument. The male subject had left the area before officers arrival.

2:30 a.m., Officers responded to the 900 block of Webster for a subject who had threatened suicide. Subject had been taken to the Hedrick Medical Center for a mental evaluation.

2:17 p.m., Officers responded to Simson Park for a suspicious person. Subject was located in the bathroom charging his cell phone.

2:36 p.m., Officers responded to the 200 block of 2nd Street for a possible burglary. Several items were missing from the residence. Further investigation is to continue.

2:42 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of 1st Street for a check well-being. Subjects were found to be okay.

4:55 p.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of Montgomery Street for a possible burglary. The owner did not wish a report of any crime at this time.

5:30 p.m., Officers responded to the 700 block of Williams for a possible trespassing. Officers found no trespassing had occurred.

7:43 p.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of John F. Kennedy for a disturbance. Subjects were upset about people walking their dogs in the alley. It was explained that people can walk the dogs down the alley.

On March 23, the Chillicothe Police Department responded to 88 calls for service.
