Press release for April 1
12:09 a.m., Report of a female lying in the street and yelling for help near Tenth and Oak streets. Officers contacted the subject who had fell from her motor scooter. The subject and her scooter were assisted to her residence after medical care was not requested. No report.
6:42 a.m., Request from another agency to go to an address in the 200 block of Jackson Street and try to contact a subject in reference to a vehicle that was abandoned in their jurisdiction. Officer was unable to contact anyone at the address at this time.
10:08 a.m., Report of three suspicious acting subjects near a business building and city parking lot in the 700 block of N. Washington Street. Subjects were contacted by officers and were now leaving the area.
10:22 a.m., Officer was out at courthouse for paper service.
10:40 a.m., Parking complaint in the Miller and Bryan Street area. The illegally parked pick-up was located on Miller Street and the owner contacted. The vehicle was moved.
11:00 a.m., Reported disturbance at a business in the 10 block of Cherry Street. Found to be a verbal argument over the return of property. Determined to be a civil issue.
11:06 a.m., Report of a disturbance at a business in the 300 block of S. Washington Street. Officers arrived at the location and contacted the suspects. A computer check of the subjects revealed that one of the suspects was wanted on both a Livingston County warrant and a Carroll County warrant. The subject, a 21-year-old Carrollton resident, was transported to the police department where he was later released on bond.
4:25 p.m., Report from a motorist that as they were traveling in the 1900 block of N. Washington Street, their windshield was damaged by a golf ball. Information was obtained for insurance coverage.
7:34 p.m., Officer assisted Chillicothe Emergency Services on a medical call in the 10 block of Eleventh Street.
8:00 p.m., Reported open door on residence in 1200 block of Clay Street. Officers checked premises and no forced entry was observed. Officers secured the premises.
8:14 p.m., Officers were called to a business in the 1000 block of Graves Street for reported trespassing. The subject, a 53-year-old Chillicothe resident was found to have been previously trespassed from the business. The subject was cited for the offense, to appear in court at later date then released pending appearance.
On April 1, the Chillicothe Police Department received 62 calls for service.
