Bosworth native Kristy (Dilley) Rich, Commissioner for USA Softball of Missouri. Certainly making her parents, Jim and Dian Dilley, proud folks. Kristy, a graduate of Bosworth High School and the University of Central Missouri, Warrensburg, with a journalism degree, has been involved in sports and lots of softball throughout her life. Kristy and her family reside at St. James, Mo. Outside of USA Softball, Kristy works for the St. James School district and is sports director for the St. James Parks and Recreation Department. She was the Junior Olympic/Youth Commissioner for USA Softball of Missouri the past 15 years.

We want to wish Huck T Smith a Big No. 4 Birthday, coming up next Wednesday. What an amazing and fun little guy he is!! Chad and Abby, knowing you are so proud of your family. Ironically on this date April 29, 2016, 4 years ago, Huck was born and Uncle Bill retired. They will have to celebrate together sometime.

What about the “Hornet Express!!” That project has been a work in progress for us all to watch and now completed it looks Amazing, and a new business in Chillicothe, could not have happened in a better town and location is perfect. With springtime here everyone wants a nice clean car to cruise in. Let’s go experience the drive through--- Hornet Express. Compliments to the Weldon Families!!

Compliments to William A. Kieffer, Chillicothe High School Senior, as finalist for the National Merit Scholarship. William is one of the 15,000 finalists nationwide striving in this academic scholarship competition for recognition and a university scholarship that began in 1955. A very competitive and knowledgeable process. William is a son of Billy and Malinda Kieffer. The announcement of winners may be made sometime up to June. The last time Chillicothe High School had a National Merit Scholarship recipient was in 2016, that was Marissa Surber. Where is Marissa now, attended Missouri University of Science and Technology, Rolla, and is now employed by U. S. Geological Survey USGS.
