Officers responded to a report of a vicious dog of a restricted breed, at large in the 400 block of Clay Street.

8:58 a.m., Officers dispatched to a report of a dog inside a business in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street and workers can’t get the dog out. Officers responded to the scene and the dog had already exited the building.

9:11 a.m., Officers checking residence on Jennifer Lane. Dog possibly from there. Upon making contact with resident, dog does not belong there.

10:24 a.m., Officer travelled to Trenton for a Child Advocacy meeting. Investigation continuing.

11:48 a.m., Officer out in the 1700 block of Maple Street. Continuing investigation and information gathering.

11:55 a.m., Officer out at the courthouse for paper service.

2:00 p.m., Officer out in the 1700 block of Maple Street on continuing investigation.

2:27 p.m., Officer speaking to subject on the phone reporting possible sexual assault. Investigation is continuing.

2:42 p.m., Officers began an investigation into fraudulent use of a credit device from a resident in the 1600 block of Third Street. The credit device was used to purchase items on-line without the owner’s consent. Investigation is continuing.

3:16 p.m., Officer at the police department conducting a follow-up investigation on possible sexual assault.

3:54 p.m., Officer out at courthouse for court duties.

4:42 p.m., Officers began an investigation into a stolen vehicle in the 1300 block of Cooper Street. Information was obtained and the vehicle was entered into the law enforcement computer system as stolen. Further investigation to follow.

5:30 p.m., Officers responded to a report of a vicious dog of a restricted breed, at large in the 400 block of Clay Street. Investigation to follow.

6:41 p.m., Report of illegal burning at the intersection of Third and Turner streets. believed fire too close to structure. Officer checked the fire and determined it a safe distance from the structure and it was being monitored.

7:02 p.m., Report of kids riding motorbikes on sidewalk in the 300 block of Mansur Street. Officers located the subjects and they were adults. Officers waned them of the violation.

8:55 p.m., Report of subject trespassing at vacant building at Clay and Locust streets. Subject was located and just sitting outside the building. Subject went on their way. No report.

On April 21, the Chillicothe Police Department received 87 calls for service.
