Officers are continuing to investigate property damage at the old prison.

5:08 a.m., Officers responded to the 600 block of Old U.S. Highway 36 for a suspicious person. Officers made contact with the subject who was passing through hitchhiking. The subject was leaving to go to Brunswick.

8:15 a.m., Officers responded to the 600 block of Walnut for found property. Officers took control of the items to return them to the rightful owner.

9:29 a.m., Officers responded to 400 block of Grandview for a stranded motorist. Officers were able to get the traveler on there way.

11:28 a,m., Officers responded to 900 Block of East Birch Street for a business alarm. Officers found the alarm to be false.

2:20 p.m., Officers responded to the old prison for property damage. Further investigation is to continue in this case.

5:16 p.m., Officers responded to the 1000 block of Graves for stealing. Officers arrested a subject for shoplifting. The subject was fully processed and released with a municipal court date.

5:37 p.m., Officers responded to the 100 block of South Street to assist another agency in locating a suspect. Officers did not locate the suspect in the area.

7:24 p.m., Officers located a stranded motorist at Polk Street and Missouri Avenue. Officers assisted in getting the motorist on the road again.

8:40 p.m, Officers arrested a white female subject for operating a motor vehicle while in an intoxicated condition. The subject was fully processed and released with a Municipal Court Date.
