Only 150 tickets will be sold.
Main Street Chillicothe plans to host its annual Fall Wine Walk from 5-7 p.m., on Friday, Oct. 2,
in downtown Chillicothe.
Executive Director Pam Jarding said due to the COVID-19 some adjustments have had to be made to the event to keep the safety of all participants in mind.
“We have had to make some adjustments on how we will be doing this event, keeping in mind everyone’s safety.
Missouri Wines will be featured, however, tickets are only available to 150 people.
Tickets can be purchased through Eventbrite.
Tickets are $15 each. No commemorative glasses will be handed out. Each of the participating merchants will have plastic disposable glasses for tasting. Most will have their particular wine pre-poured. If a merchant decides to have food, participants will find them pre-packaged.
“Due to recommendations by our health care professionals there will not be a band playing
inside Silver Moon Plaza, Jarding said noting that social distancing would be hard to do. “Adam Mast will be providing music during the time of the wine walk. Jersey’s Grill will also be set up inside the Archway of Silver Moon Plaza selling their beer products. A food option for tasters is to purchase hotdogs or hamburgers from Hy-Vee Grill. They are going to be located on Webster
Main Street is asking that all tickets be purchased either through the Eventbrite link or by
calling the Main Street office at 660-646-4071 using a debit or credit card.No tickets will be available the night of the event.
Those with tickets are asked to stop by a tent, in front of the Commerce Building at 514 Washington St., where they will be given their wrist bands.
