For the first time in eight years, Linn County High School’s girls basketball team has captured a district championship and played in the Class 1 state tournament. The 2021-22 Lady Mustangs captured the District 12 title last Thursday at Meadville, defeating the top-seeded hosts 46-43 in overtime.
