Randell Neal Tracy

Randell Neal “Randy” Tracy was born Jan. 25, 1965 in Trenton, Mo., one of two sons of Charles Randell and Marilyn Fern (Towns) Tracy. Randy, aka “Tuffy” graduated from Trenton High School in 1983.

Randy married Laura Jill Sybert on Sept. 18, 1992 and they became parents of one daughter, Devon.

Following graduation from nursing school, Randy achieved his CRNA from Florida International University. He was currently employed with Mosiac Life Care in St. Joseph, Missouri.

Randy’s life’s mission was to enjoy life, love and help everyone, which he did in Randy Style. He had many hobbies outside of work, which included reading, biking, metal detecting, arrowhead knapping and adventurer. Randy touched many lives in his short 53 years and his legacy will be carried on through them.

Randy was injured in an accident on Nov. 3, 2018 in St. Joseph, and passed away at a Lincoln, Neb. Hospital on Dec. 15, 2018.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clifton L., and Ferrel A. Tracy, and Francis L. and Elizabeth M.Towns; and by his father-in-law, Jim Sybert. Randy is survived by his wife Jill, of their Savannah,Mo. home; their daughter, Devon, of Kansas City, Mo.; his parents, Charles and Marilyn of Laredo, Mo., parents-in-law, Jeri Burke and Ray Sisson of St. Joseph, Mo.; brother and sister-in-law, Charles Stephen “Steve” and Mary Tracy of Trenton, Mo.; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Tracy and Mike Lovett of Sidney, Iowa, Travis Sybert of North Kansas City, Mo., Breea and Brett Holmes of Weston,Mo., Jade and Lori Sybert of Rock Port, Mo., Shauna and W.C. Farmer of Rock Port, Mo., Chad and Mandy Ottmann of Rock Port, Mo.;and Dr. Shane Ottmann and Nicole Nardone of Baltimore, Maryland; nieces and nephes, co-workers and a host of friends.

Celebration of Life Services will be on Saturday, Jan. 12, 2019, 1:00 p.m. at the Word of Life Church, 3902 NE Riverside Road, St. Joseph, Mo. The family will greet friends following this service, and on Sunday, Jan. 13, 2019 ad 3:00 p.m. at the First Christian Church, Trenton, Mo. the family will greet friends before this service starting at 1:00 p.m.
