With his team trailing by eight points in the fourth quarter, Marceline High School football Tigers senior quarterback Dax Thomas gets loose on the right (north) sideline at MHS’ Chester Ray Stadium and takes the ball in for the crucial touchdown which, with a successful 2-points conversion, allowed the Tigers to take their game against South Harrison into overtime. However, in the extra segment in which each side reached paydirt, South Harrison had the better conversion and handed the Tigers their first-ever Grand River Conference East setback, 38-37.
