With proper anticipatory positioning and racquet preparation technique, senior Austin Lyford of the 2024 Chillicothe High School tennis Hornets makes a rally-winning, backhand block volley at net during his and playing partner Andrew Snider’s pivotal 8-3 victory over the Carrollton opponents during the Hornets’ season and home opener at the Daryl Danner Memorial Park courts March 19.
