Repeat All-State Plaudit for CHS’ Reeter Caps Records-Smashing Career

Having just nudged a shot into the goal from eight yards away for her team-record 33rd and final tally of the 2022 season, Chillicothe High School forward Lucy Reeter leaps over the prone Excelsior Springs goalkeeper her shot had just bested midway through the second half of the squads’ district-tournament first-round match May 16. Recently disclosed as a Class 1 second-team All-State selection for the second year in a row, the now-graduated Reeter hurdled virtually every scoring record in the Lady Hornets program during her 3-seasons career, indisputably making her one of the greatest players ever in the 15-seasons history of the CHS girls’ program.
