Holden eventually won the seesaw game in walk-off fashion, 8-7, in six innings after the teams were tied 5-5 when the 90-minutes time limit expired. Holden went on to capture the tournament crown, defeating Savannah 3-2 and fellow tourney-unbeatern Southern Boone County 9-5 in the “championship pool” late Saturday afternoon and early evening.
