Witches, goblins, superheros and princesses filled the sidewalks of downtown Chillicothe last Friday when Boofest returned downtown after the event was held as a drive-thru event last year due to COVID.

Hundreds of children and adults were greeted by area business for several hours in advance of Halloween on Sunday.
