12:59 a.m., Officer provided a courtesy ride to a subject from Hedrick Medical Center’s Emergency Room to their residence.
7:23 a.m., Subject at police department to speak with officer about possible drug use on property owned by them. Options were discussed.
7:34 a.m., Officers were dispatched to the 200 block of Polk Street, for a reported burglary. Investigation is on-going in this case.
7:57 a.m., Officers arrested a 27-year-old male in the 10 block of S. Washington Street on a Caldwell County arrest warrant for domestic assault. He was processed and released to the Caldwell County Sheriff's Office.
8:52 a.m., Animal complaint at residence at South and Samuel streets. Handled by officer.
9:01 a.m., Officers responded to the 10 block of S Washington Street for warrant service. Officers arrested a subject on a DeKalb County warrant. The subject was unable to post required bond and was transported to Daviess/DeKalb County Regional Jail.
10:17 a.m., Officer travelled to Trenton for a child advocacy meeting.
11:16 a.m., Officers performed a well-being check in the 1400 block of Cooper Street. Subject contacted and okay.
12:36 p.m., Officers responded to First and Hickory streets to a report of a dog hit by a vehicle. Animal Control was contacted and reported to the scene.
1:51 p.m., Officer out at courthouse for court duties.
2:10 p.m., Officers responded to an alarm in the 10 block of Walnut Street. Subjects testing the alarm.
2:55 p.m., Report of a door-to-door frozen meat salesperson in the 700 block of Cowgill Street. Officers were unable to locate the vehicle.
3:28 p.m., Parking complaint in the 900 block of Vine. Vehicle in an alleyway. Owner contacted and moving vehicle.
6:19 p.m., Report of unattended kids in vehicle in the 1000 block of Graves Street. Parent contacted and counseled.
9:42 p.m., Officers reported to the 1500 block of Bryan Street in reference a juvenile sneaking out of the residence. They were returned to the residence.
10:02 p.m., Officer performed well-being check in the 1400 block of Oak Drive. Everything OK.
On July 22, the Chillicothe Police received 71 calls for service.
