12:15 a.m., Officer out in the 400 block of Elm Street on an investigation.
12:30 a.m., Officer out at Henry and Violet streets on an investigation.
12:42 a.m., Officer out in the 1500 block of Clay Street on a continuing investigation.
12:57 a.m., Officer provided a courtesy ride from the 2700 block of N. Washington Street to the 200 block of Second Street.
1:04 a.m., Officer out in the 1600 block of Third Street on continuing investigation.
1:39 a.m., Officer stopped a vehicle near Fair and Lambert Drive for a traffic violation. The 32-year-old driver was determined to be impaired and arrested for driving while intoxicated, processed and released with citations.
6:36 a.m., Parking complaint in the 200 block of Brunswick Street. Issue handled by officer.
8:32 a.m., Officer out in the 10 block of S. Washington Street reference possible incident with a previous employee. No incident occurred.
8:56 a.m., Officer at the police department taking a report of theft of roofing material.
9:12 a.m., Officer recovered a set of keys that were found in the 100 block of Herriford Street.
9:38 a.m., Report of small child going from house to house, knocking on doors in the area of Danner Park and Twelfth Street. Officers unable to locate anyone.
11:12 a.m., Officers performing well-being check on subject in the area of Madison and Church Street. Subject was okay.
11:20 a.m., Officer travelled to Kansas City for Federal Court appearance.
11:43 a.m., Officer spoke on phone with subject reference possible fraud. No report.
12:30 p.m., Subject in the police department to speak with officer in reference harassment. No report.
12:43 p.m., Officer in the police department for fingerprinting detail.
1:05 p.m., Officer out at Jackson and Elm Street recovering possible drug paraphernalia. Item picked up for disposal.
2:03 p.m., Officer in the police department for fingerprinting detail.
2:10 p.m., Officer checked area of U.S. Highway 36 and Missouri Highway CC for semi blocking roadway. Nothing was found on officer’s arrival.
2:56 p.m., Officer out in the 200 block of Crescent Drive on an investigation.
3:59 p.m., Officer assisted Animal Control in checking welfare of dog in the 300 block of Hill Street. Animal being cared for.
4:06 p.m., Officer reported to the 500 block of St. Louis Avenue in reference a stolen bicycle. Report was taken.
4:29 p.m., Officers assisted Children’s Division on a call in the 400 block of Vine Street.
5:02 p.m., Officer out in the 900 block of Bryan Street for report of a window broken out of residence.
6:33 p.m., Officer on special detail to deliver items to location in Cameron.
9:43 p.m., Report of dog running loose in the 500 block of S. Washington Street. Officers unable to locate.
10:25 p.m., Officer performed a traffic stop on a speeding vehicle in the 1200 block of N. Washington Street. The driver, a 26-year-old resident was determined to be impaired and was arrested for driving while intoxicated, processed, cited and released.
On Aug. 25, the Chillicothe Police Department received 87 calls for service.
