Kansas City band to offer free concert Saturday
The outdoor concert series at First and Elm will conclude on this weekend with a free live music event. The acoustic duo of Cam and Colleen with Flannigan’s Right Hook, a popular Kansas City rock band, will perform from 8-10 p.m. Oct. 3.
To view the concert, spectators may park and watch from their vehicles or bring chairs and watch from a socially distant safe space. The neighborhood restaurants will be selling food and drink.
“This is an excellent way to support local businesses during this time,” Amy Supple said in a press release.
The band will be in the open garage bay of the Sliced Bread Innovation Center and 1st Street will be closed to traffic to allow for more room for spectators.
