Yoo Jung Lee, 2022-23 Chillicothe High School sophomore, has control of Cassidy Benwell of Wentzville: North Point during their Class 1 state tournament championship bout at Columbia’s Mizzou Arena last Thursday. CHS’ first-ever participant in the 5-years-old girls’ state tournament and already assured of being the first medalist, as well, Lee became CHS’ first state-title-bout combatant when she took the mat last Thursday evening.
